It’s preschool registration time!

Do you have a child who is 3 or 4 years old?  It’s time to sign up for preschool for the 2025-26 school year!

Preschool is an exciting time!

Over a few short months, we see our preschoolers grow into tiny scholars, learning the social, academic, and classroom skills they will need in the years following. These foundational skills are important, not only to their development but also to their confidence. Learning should be joyful, and preschool can help!

We offer three options to meet families’ individual needs, all with developmentally appropriate curriculum and delivered by credentialed teachers.

California State Preschool Program
These state-provided programs are offered at two SSD sites, open to children from any school who meet income eligibility requirements. They are offered at San Miguel and Lakewood Elementary schools and provide morning and afternoon sessions.

Parent-Pay Preschool Program        
This program is scheduled for five mornings or afternoons each week and is located at Lakewood Elementary.

Special Education Preschool Program
Services begin at age 3 for eligible students living with disabilities. Our team works closely with families to ensure every child receives the support they need.
